Grab a tissue!

A friend of mine lost her second child several years ago. I believe Little Faith was around 6 months old when she passed. She was loved very much in the short time she had here on earth. Her older brother was one of those that loved her so very much. At the time of her death he was five years old. In one of his current 5th grade classes he was instructed to write a poem. This is what he wrote:

I AM

I AM FURIOUS AND UPSET
I WONDER IF I'LL SEE MY LITTLE SISTER AGAIN
I HEAR HER TALKING TO ME
I SEE HER IN MY DREAMS
I WANT HER TO BE HERE WITH US
I AM FURIOUS AND UPSET

I PRETEND SHE'S THERE BUT SHE'S NOT
I FEEL HER KISS ME GOOD NIGHT
I TOUCH HER HAND
I WORRY I'LL NEVER SEE HER
I CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP
I AM FURIOUS AND UPSET

I UNDERSTAND SHE'S HAPPY IN HEAVEN
I SAY SHE'S HERE WITH ME
I DREAM SHE'S HERE WITH US
I TRY TO TALK TO HER
I HOPE TO SEE MY SISTER
I AM FURIOUS AND UPSET

Devin did a beautiful job expressing his feelings. Don't forget Devin that Faith loved you very much. Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
